JASON BREND
Head Girls Basketball Coach, Thompson High School
A native of Buxton, ND, Jason graduated from Central Valley High School in 1994. He then attended Mayville State University where he received bachelor degrees in business and physical education. Jason began his teaching and coaching career at Thompson High School in 2000. He recently completed his 17th season as their head girls basketball coach. During his time at the reigns, his teams have qualified for six state tournaments and currently have played in nine straight region championship games.

BRANDY GEORGE
Brandy George started his teaching career in Edmore, ND and was there for 12 years. He and his wife, Lindsey, moved to Thompson in 2012, and have two children; Tenley (4yrs) and Cooper (19 months). He currently teaches 7th grade English and study skills and 8th grade pre-algebra and study skills. Brandy has been a head boys basketball coach for the past 22 years (9 in Thompson).
The Tommies won the Region 2 title for the first time in school history in 2019 as well as the State B Championship.

KYLE MOREHART
20+ years of coaching experience, most recently having coached at Hillsboro-Central Valley and MayPort-CG, with a trip to state in 2015 with the MayPort-CG boys. A product of the legendary Coach Ed Beyer.
